Locals were given an opportunity to take part in the spectacular Festival of Lights Diwali parade on Friday 23 October in Woking Park.
In previous years we have had a range of large scale lanterns, from a giant Eagle representing Barclays Bank, to large scale Police lantern made by local officers, to a giant slipper promoting the annual Pantomime shows at the New Victoria Theatre.
This year WABF Director Kirin Hussain went along to the lantern making workshop held at Bishop David Brown School in Woking and helped pupil Shaan Ashraf from Sheerwater to build a Diwali lantern represeting the WABF.
The WABF lantern was paraded in Woking Park on Friday 23 October.
